Miranda supports the 3rd Edition of Turmageddon

September 30, 2019

Last Saturday, September 28th, the 3rd edition of the Turmageddon Integrative Run took place. Miranda Textiles took part in it through material support and active participation in the organization of obstacles on the route, therefore the company has become a Strategic Partner of the Run.

Despite the autumn aura, this edition of Turmageddon enjoyed an unusual turnout. Participants could start the race on three different levels, encountering various, sometimes very demanding obstacles on the route. The initiative of the run aims not only to integrate disabled and non-disabled people, but also to connect various environments and local communities.

The sport and integration event, as in previous years, took place in the City Park of Żermina Składkowska, and the organizers of the event were the Copernicus Plus Association and Friendship for Children, operating at the Special Educational Center in Turek, PL. The honorary patronage over the event was taken by the Polish Paralympic Committee.

Among the volunteers and helpers of those taking part in the race were representatives of the city authorities together with the mayor Romuald Antosik, local organizations, associations and companies.

The whole event was accompanied by integration and great fun.
